The best flower festivals in Europe: three of them are held in England
In order to identify the best flower festivals in Europe, DFDS, a ferry and cruise company, has conducted research and compiled a selection of the most popular festivals on Instagram. About this writes Time Out.
Keukenhof Gardens, the largest tulip garden in the Netherlands, is at the top of the ranking. It is located near Amsterdam, in the town of Lisset, and regularly publishes a "flower report" on its Instagram page so that visitors know what kind of arrangements to expect.
The second place was taken by the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which is held annually in the gardens of the Royal Chelsea Hospital in London. Girona Temps de Flors from the Catalan city of Girona is in third place.
