The best boxers in the world according to The Ring: did Oleksandr Usyk make the list
Oleksandr Usyk is the current WBC, WBA and WBO world heavyweight champion
Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk retained the first position in the ranking of the best boxers in the world, regardless of weight category, according to The Ring magazine.
Japan's Naoya Inoue also retained his second position in the ranking as the WBC, WBO and IBF world champion in the second lightweight division (up to 55.3 kg). Terence Crawford from the United States, the holder of the WBO interim middleweight belt (up to 69.9 kg), is ranked third.
The only change in the ranking: Junto Nakatani, the WBC lightweight champion (up to 52.2 kg), moved up to sixth place, ahead of American Jesse Rodriguez, who holds the WBC title in the second lightest weight (up to 51 kg).
- A rematch between Usyk and Briton Daniel Dubois will take place on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London.
- The Ukrainian also previously announced that he was ending his professional career. His last opponents will be Britons Dubois and Fury.
