"Tourists go home!" – with such posters residents of Barcelona, Lisbon, and Naples are taking to the streets. A wave of anti-tourist protests is sweeping across Spain, Portugal, and Italy: people are tired of crowds, rising prices, and the transformation of ancient streets into selfie backdrops. Europe is overcrowded, and more and more travelers are looking for an alternative – new routes, new sensations, new depth.

"To be honest, I'm a little bit "fed up" with Europe. I can't say that I've been everywhere, but I've visited the main cities, tasted the food, seen the architecture," says travel blogger Oleksandra Alyokhina, "And although I'm delighted with Paris, and Spain has a special place in my heart, I've started choosing countries that combine a strong culture, affordable living and warm climate.".

Travel blogger Oleksandra Alyokhina travels almost non-stop: from the spiritual practices of India to the street bustle of Thailand. LIGA.net talked to her about where to go if you're looking for more than just a hotel vacation.

About experience and impressions
