NAZVA lead singer Pavlo Gots joins Ukrainian military – photos

Pavlo Gots, the lead vocalist and bassist of the Ukrainian band Nazva, has joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as announced on his Instagram page.

"Removed from military registry. Reason: military serviceman," Gots wrote in his post, sharing a photo of himself in military uniform.

This information was also confirmed by his bandmate, vocalist and violist Yaroslav Yarovenko, during the "Golden Star LiRoom" awards ceremony.

Nazva is a Ukrainian music band, founded in 2019 by Pavlo Gots from Galicia and Yaroslav Yarovenko from Donbas. The band describes its musical style as "alternative ethno-art chaos," using instruments such as the viola, double bass, keyboards, and floor tom.

In 2024, the band participated in the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Slavic English."
