Laminated birth certificate – what are the risks at the border and what does the law say
LIGA.net investigates whether you can be denied entry abroad with a child if the birth certificate is laminated

On social media, parents are increasingly complaining that they were allegedly denied border crossing because of a laminated birth certificate for their child. They claim that because the document doesn't match the "original appearance," border guards don't recognize it.
Can laminating a certificate really be grounds for refusal? And what does the law say about this? LIGA.net is investigating the matter together with Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
