Toxic positivity: why the phrase "everything will be fine" is more annoying than reassuring

In today's world, being "positive" has become almost a duty – they say, smile, think positively, don't complain. But what if behind this mask of optimism lies pressure, indifference, and an unwillingness to see someone else's pain? Why, instead of sincere support, do we often brush off the cliché "don't worry" – and leave the person alone with their experiences?

What is a toxic positive?
Toxic positivity is not just some trendy term. It's a very real problem that really affects a person and their psyche, says the psychologist:
— These are moments in life when one person ignores the true emotional state of another. It's as if they're "by the ears" pulling a feeling of optimism, joy, and positivity: they say, "live, be happy, everything's fine."
