More and more young people are dreaming of owning their own home, particularly in the countryside. In the face of an unstable real estate market and growth prices for apartment renovation, old houses can be an economically attractive option.
The couple Alina and Ruslan Hlebko bought an old house for $6500 when they were 27 years old in the village in Cherkasy region. Now they are restoring it and documenting the entire process on their TikTok and Instagram blog.

Without running water and modern electricity, they had a dream, hands, and experience. They cleared the land, rebuilt the veranda, designed the interior, and entrusted some of the work to their relatives. LIGA.net talked to them and found out:
