And at the same time, we no longer post daily, document every cup of coffee, or report every event in our stories. Our accounts remain, but they are silent. We are "there" – but we say nothing.

This is a new digital phenomenon that social researchers and practitioners have already had time to name. quiet online presence – a quiet online presence.
