Polaroid recently shared a collection of the best Polaroid photos of 2023 on Instagram, including a snapshot by Ukrainian artist Veronika Mol.
"We don't like to boast, but we feel that there are few communities in the world as passionate, creative, and talented as ours," the post reads.
In the Ukrainian photo, there is a building on Lobanovsky Avenue, which was shelled in the early days of the war.
"On February 24, 2022, I woke up at 5 am to the sounds of explosions hitting Kyiv. For the first time in my life, I felt real fear – an animal fear for my life. The first thing my partner and I did was tape up the windows in our apartment. Then I grabbed a Polaroid and took a picture," Veronika Mol wrote about the photo.
