Olena Vaneeva's Rules of Success

– Procrastination should be useful

After discovering the default network mode (DMN) in our brain, as well as the understanding that the greatest insights come at this time, it is not clear why we should fight it at all. Procrastination should simply be useful – not by endlessly watching shorts and reels, but by walking, sleeping, or doing your favorite hobby.

– Listen to advice

First, I reflect on the data, listen to the advice of people who are my authority, and finally analyze my feelings, listening to my intuition.

– To be a man of the Way, not a man of the goal

Here I would like to recall the aphorism of Lao Tzu: "The path leading to the goal is not an eternal path." For me, it is important to be a person of the Path, not a person of the goal. That is, to develop, learn and move forward, while perceiving any goal as an intermediate one that opens up new opportunities for personal development.

– Fear is not an escape, but a challenge

Treat fear not as Forget Everything And Run, but as Face Everything And Rise.

– Finding your "kindred labor"

If you work with inspiration, success will surely come, and this is possible only when you are passionate about what you do. In other words, it is important to find your "kindred work" in Skovoroda's terms or, in a broader sense, the "path of the heart" in Castaneda's terms.

What always keeps you on your toes?

Only deadlines help me stay focused. I have to admit that I am not a very organized person, but I see it not as a disadvantage, but as my feature.
